Boise State University Symphonic Winds Boise Concert reviews
Eric played Great!
Boise State University Symphonic Winds did a great job playing, considering they were the only guitarist in the band and had a lot on their shoulders. Playing was superb, as was their supporting band (Keyboards, Hammond Organ, Bass, Drums and 2 female back-up vocalists). Los Lobos was a lively opening act with a dirtier louder sound, but was more interactive with the audience. A few magic moments when Boise State University Symphonic Winds had their eyes closed during some great solos and there was a quick smile here and there. My only quibble is that Boise State University Symphonic Winds didn't speak much to the audience and seemed a little distant, but apparently that's their style. Once one song was finished, the band just launched directly into the next. Glad I went to see the Legend as I'm sure this will be my only chance. Blues-rock guitar at its best for sure.
